Kindly hosted by the Weir Group at their office at 1 West Regent Street, Glasgow, G2 1RW. The evening will focus around a discussion on The Application of Data in Rugby Union and the Importance of Context, presented by Jack Walsh.
Jack will be explaining typical uses of data in sport, and will share his experience using machine learning to predict match outcomes in rugby union. And he'll also share his personal journey and his data career, starting out as an avid sportsman and the path to his current role in Financial Services.
